Nightly street scenes in Klang Valley, Malaysia

I shall begin this thread with Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur. Dataran Merdeka is literally translated as Independence Square. This is the place where Malaya was agreed independence by the British.

The historic KL icon - The Sultan Abdul Samad Building. Which now also houses the high court.


The white & black building is the Royal Selangor Club. KL was the capital of the state of Selangor before it was sold to the federal government. Behind is the HQ for Bank Rakyat. Further on the right is Bank Negara, the central bank of Malaysia.


Green green grass. No you don't play football there. The bright skyscraper on the right is none other than the DBKL, the KL City Hall.
