The entrance hall, following Dante Alighieri's 'Divina Comedia' allegories, the first floor represents hell, with dragons on both sides of the vaults

The view towards purgatory (3rd floor). The picture was taken from the place where Palanti designed a tomb for Dante, whose ashes were supposed to be brought over from Italy to be buried here.





This is purgatory. Every floor has a similar lobby.
