PARIS [18] Sunset at Montparnasse Tower

To end off this beautiful day in Paris, I went up to the Tour Montparnasse observation deck to watch the sunset. The 56th floor is 196 metres from street level and the elevator ride takes only 38 seconds.

Although the building is quite big and somewhat out of place in Paris, it does give a very nice view of the city. Nobody else in the area comes close to the tower's height.

I wished there was better signage from the Metro exit to the entrance. I circled around the building trying to find it and in the end it was up a bunch of steps in some obscure location.

I will post some fresh views in my next part, including snapshots from the outdoor observation deck on the roof.
