Classical Rome

Ok, after my stay in Munich (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=382171) (where I planned to go to Salzburg from, but I had to regretfully cancel that, even though I already visited Salzburg in 2002) Anyways, my next stop was Rome where I spent 4 days, before continuing on.

The Trevi Fountain

Sant'Agnese Basilica on the Piazza Navona (one of Rome's public squares)

The Parthenon

St Peters Cathedral (I did not believe if for myself until I saw a huse line of people waiting to get inside, took only 30 minutes though)

Castelle de San Angelo (sorry for the quality of this photo but it was taken from a window)

The Campidoglio (designed by Michaelangelo)

Monument to Vittorio Emmanuel II

Some views of the Roman Forum, and plenty more photos of ancient Roman buildings (I'm sorry, but I'm a huge fan of the Roman Empire)

An ancient Roman arch (I'm not really sure about the name of it though)

View of Domitian's Palace from Circus Maximus

More of Emp. Domitian's Palace, located on Palatine Hill

Basilica of Maxentius

Views From Palatine Hill

Arch of Septimius Servius

Arch of Constantine

And of chorse, the Colosseum

Street leading to Arch of Titus and eventually the Roman Forum

Trajan's Market (ancient shopping mall)
