hkskyline in MUMBAI - Part 2

2007 brings me to India. Here are some photos from my visit to Mumbai, India's financial capital.

1. Enjoy the ocean breeze blowing off the Arabian Sea :

2. Mumbai's traditional core is not too tall at all.

4. A little smog, but not too much!

5. More shots towards Colaba :

8. More buildings :

12. Grit.

19. I wonder whether these terraces and windows are designed to counter the hot winters.

27. The Taj is located next to the Gateway, which is a huge tourist trap.

28. But inside the hotel, it's a much quieter oasis.

34. Yet another sunny day!

39. Lime juice stand

40. In the upcoming parts, I will bring you around the streets of the historic core, with many surprises architecturally.
