Uptown/Downtown SACRAMENTO Grit

This is a tour of SacramentoÂ's not so great side.

I started in the Uptown section of Sacramento also known as North Sacramento. I moved southwest
along Rio Linda Blvd. and El Camino Blvd. toward downtown where I came into downtown on 12th Street.
I then moved up and down the streets of J, K, & L Streets were the city really needs some work.

Those of you who have followed my other photo threads will notice that this one is much more toned
down in styleÂ… itÂ's tough to get flash when the subjects have very little to featureÂ… but I did have a lot of fun
taking these. When I went into North Sacramento, I always went early in the morning so there would
be less of a chance of someone hassling when I pull out my D70. My early morning weekend ventures
explains why many of the photos have very few cars and people in them.
