Minneapolis - Winter photos

Here is a chronological tour of this Winter which is really just random photos I took when I was out doing whatever it was I was doing. This picture is my favorite though so I'm putting it first. It was taken in February when it was frigid.

Okay... now in semi-chronological order.

The Winter started out quite warm; here is the warehouse district in the evening.

Lake Calhoun

The snowless Stone Arch Bridge

Looking up American Express...er.. Ameriprise Financial

Old US Bank building...those little leaves were resilient!

Here is a little grit...this is the Whittier neighborhood 2 miles south of downtown, it's actually quite lovely...this pic isn't though.

This is West of downtown from the Bryn Mawr neighborhood

AT&T building from my work

Also from my work (IDS Center is on the right) P.S. I made this sunset out of boredom one day

The Foshay tower surrounded by the Marquette hotel on the left and the IDS Crystal Court in the foreground with the IDS Center on the right

Target World Headquarters from the IDS Center

The Glorious Wells Fargo on a misty and oddly warm December night

The Hollidazzle Parade...Notice all of the people in the skyway, haha.

A couple pics of the old US Bank building...

and then Winter comes full force...
Lake Calhoun

Super-cooled Minneapolis in February...the river froze over soon after this (not enough to walk on of course)

And these were from two nights ago when we got 11 inches of snow in one night...(I had the urge to go bike in it at 3AM)

Cheers!>
