La Condesa... the trendiest quarter of Mexico City

The La Condesa quarter has its roots in the beginning of the 20th century when Mexico City grew up extremely rapid and wealthy families needed a new are to get away from the busy downtown. It was so until 1985 big earthquake that devastated the area and so many people decided to abandon it.

Nowadays, La Condesa is it's on everybody's conversation becoming on the culinary, industrial design and trendy-bohème spot with its more than 200 restaurants, design coffee shops and stores where everything has to be designed perfectly.

The dominating architectural style in La Condesa is Art-Déco.
