Yakumoto goes to New York City

Taking advantage of a sweet Jetblue special, i went to New York in order to take a couple of pictures. Here they are:

Here is the skyline from on top of my hotel. It is a brisk 15 degrees at 4am here.

Some random intersection in Manhattan

There are several tall buildings in New York City

For you LA forumers, parking lots can be found downtown in other cities as well, only just not so goddam many.

How boring.

More tall buildings downtown.

Here are more tall buldings that have been built recently.

Which retarded city planner prevented such a prime lot from ever being developed?

It is very comforting to know that, even in the face of national tragedy, we still can have elements of social control working for us.

Brooklyn from the hotel roof.

You're not supposed to post pictures of the trains, because people with a vendetta agains us who are more then willing to die for their cause, they get easily discouraged when it takes them too long to get pictures of NYC transit.

Somewhere in Queens, I took it from the train.

Finally, back to the land where 9/11 jokes are still (somewhat) acceptable.>
