Minneapolis/St. Paul in December

Here are the same pictures I posted in the Midwest forum over at SSP. Thought I'd go ahead and show them off to the world here... I spent a couple days last week wandering the Twin Cities, and they look good (apart from the weather). Here are a few pictures, nothing great, but it'll give you an idea.

And this is officially be my first ever photo thread. (after 6 years on the forum!)...and they're in no order at all.

Good food, good sights, good train (not enough trains though, keep building)... and *incredible* shopping downtown. I've never seen a regular U.S. downtown with so much retail. That answered the one big question I had - why do skyways work in Minneapolis when they were total failures everyplace else. I suspected it had to be more than the weather. My conclusion - it's the retail that keeps them humming... it's everywhere.>
